Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: South Boston, MA

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: $22 - $28 per hour (based on experience)

Job Description:

A well-established law firm in South Boston is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a law firm setting, strong organizational skills, and the ability to provide excellent customer service in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist clients in a professional and courteous manner, both in person and over the phone.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and court dates.
  • Maintain and organize client files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and reports as needed.
  • Handle billing, invoicing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist attorneys and legal staff with case preparation and research.
  • Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and mail distribution.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a law firm is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in general computer skills and office software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
